What is a Digital Footprint?

Describes the trail, traces, or imprint you leave online in a digital environment; including the use of TV, mobile phone, the internet and other connected devices and sensors. A digital footprint can refer to the size of a person’s or businesses online presence measured by the number of individuals with whom they interact with through social network profiles, websites or blogs, photographs and videos shared on an online service.
